| Faith Granger, a young French lady who has been
living in the US for over 20 years, has fallen in love with her 32 ford
roadster and hot rods so deeply that she has set out to make a Full
Feature film to bring the hot rod era back to the silver screen. The
plot: A young woman buys a 32 roadster. In it, she finds a mysterious
letter, dated back to the fifties. She sets out to retrace her deuce's
history and the man who once owned it, the man behind the letter: JOHNNY
CALLAWAY. The deuce was the fastest street car in the Los Angeles area
from 1953 to 1955.
The film, which is currently in production, is set to come out around
Summer of 2009. The entire hotrod community has lend its help to make
this film as accurate and true to the hotrod fifties era as a no budget
film could ever get. The Southern California Timing Association, as well
as several museums, have contributed to this film, which is the first
substancial hotrod film to be produced in many decades!
Let's hope it will be available in France! Wait and see! Meanwhile,
you can follow the progress of the film by visiting the official website
