 LABS meets for the second time for a picnic at the Balboa lake (Encino)

October  2002

A lecture and betta surgery Is performed by Patrick Ciccone, veteran IBC Halfmoon breeder. Members had the chance to examine different betta strains and learn how to evaluate them. Meanwhile free burgers were being cooked by Mr.181 for everyone :). As though all above was not enough, we added a 'yard sale' of our used fish supplies, so members were able to trade, sell or buy betta gear. A handful of free bettas were also given away to (happy) members :).
